With the BART station at its heart, Avalon Walnut Creek is a new mixed-used transit village that combines living, shopping, and active lifestyle with ultimate transit connectivity to downtown San Francisco. The environmental graphics reflect the mission-style architecture, with decorative metalwork patterns serving as the unifying graphic element. Groupings of illuminated vertical light columns serve as identity and place-markers, without being "signs".
