Wayfinding Kiosk System
Coordinated urban orientation signage and branding system for the area defined as the Downtown Business Improvement District. With the "100%" corner of Downtown Crossing at its heart, and overlapped by the Theater, Financial, Ladder Districts, this area is experiencing a renewal driven by major development and influxes of students, new businesses and retail/restaurant growth. The way finding effort currently in progress, is informed by community input and seeks to "connect the connections" by leveraging the flow of the MBTA, Freedom Trail tourists and shoppers, untangling the area's mental map, and encouraging exploration of the full assets of this vibrant pedestrian zone.
